The New Trick to Reducing Stress Without Losing Focus
Burnout and stress can make it hard to focus and keep up at work. That pressure builds, creating a cycle that’s tough to break.
If you’re looking for a way to ease workplace stress without feeling drowsy, try CBDistillery’s Daytime Calm gummies.
Each serving contains 50mg of CBG, a non-intoxicating compound derived from hemp, formulated to support calm and daytime focus.
In a 2022 CBDistillery study, CBG was associated with:
Increased focus and mental clarity
Reduced mild, temporary anxiety
Like all CBDistillery products, Daytime Calm gummies are third-party lab tested for quality and consistency.

Tip of the day
High balls are free points, but only if your overhead can actually put them away. Most players miss smashes before they ever swing, because they back up facing the net.
Backing up square is slow and dangerous: if the ball gets over your head, you have to turn all the way around to chase it. Instead, turn sideways the moment the ball goes up.
You have two options for that first move: step straight back with your dominant leg, or step forward first and bounce back into the turned position. Either way you land in a closed stance, lead shoulder pointing at your target.
From there, keep your paddle up behind your head and your free hand up tracking the ball. The free hand keeps you balanced, and the sideways stance means you can simply turn and run down any lob that gets deep.
Here is the drill, and all you need is a wall. Stand eight to ten feet away, feed the ball high off the wall, drop into your closed stance, and instead of swinging, catch the ball.
Catch it where you would want to strike it. Picture a clock in front of you: not at 12 directly over your head, but at 11 o'clock, slightly out in front.
The catch builds the two skills that decide every overhead, moving your feet into position and finding the right contact point. Once the catches feel automatic, swap the catch for a real smash.
Then make it harder. Feed the ball higher, farther left or right, or deeper behind you so you have to shuffle and adjust before every hit.
Key points
Turn sideways into a closed stance the moment the ball goes up, by dropping your dominant leg back or stepping forward and bouncing back.
Keep your paddle up and point your free hand at the ball for balance and tracking.
Feed a ball high off a wall and catch it at your ideal contact point before you ever swing.
Contact the overhead at 11 o'clock, slightly out in front, never straight above your head.
Progress the drill by feeding the ball harder, wider, or deeper so your footwork has to adjust.
