The CBD Brand that Actually Does What It Says

CBD is having a moment and CBD brands are everywhere right now. But with so many options, it can be tough to know what to look for – and which brands actually follow through on their claims.

That’s where CBDistillery sets itself apart. For the past decade, all of CBDistillery's products have been made with non-GMO, US-grown industrial hemp and with 100% clean ingredients – no corn syrup or artificial colors, flavors, preservatives or sweeteners.

They frequently introduce new and innovative products formulated to meet a variety of wellness needs and customer preferences. And every single batch of CBDistillery’s gummies, oil tinctures, topicals and softgels are tested by an independent, accredited lab to make sure what’s in the package matches what’s on the label.

Right now, CBDistillery is offering our readers a special deal: save 50% on orders of $75 or more with code NEWS50!

Tip of the day

Getting attacked in the midcourt tends to end one way: you try a perfect reset, it floats, and you're staring at an overhead.

Richard of Richard Pickleball says that's because so many players try to hit perfect resets off hard balls. Any mishit, or any misjudgment of how hard it came, pops the ball higher.

Instead, hit a mini counter. Don't try to win the point and don't flick your wrist: get low, keep a loose wrist and extend with your shoulder, pushing the ball just a teeny bit over the net at their chest.

Change the angle of your paddle and your swing so you swing out on the ball, not up. The mindset shift is simple: miss deep, not high.

Your opponent has less time on a ball coming back fast, so they usually counter it down at you. That second ball is easier, so reset it and come into the kitchen.

His preferred version uses two hands, a shovel push he took from the top women in pickleball. Your off hand turns the paddle face while your arms just push forward, which makes it easier to keep the ball low and absorb pace.

Set up on your backhand and take a step toward the middle as they hit, so you can push in one direction, toward them.

When he started doing this, he thought he might get back into the point 20 or 30 percent of the time. In real games it's been 70 or 80 percent.

What you can't feel from text is how flat and short that push is next to a reset swing, and the side by side popup versus block reps in the video show it in a second.

Key points

  • Any mishit or misjudged pace on a perfect reset pops the ball higher.

  • Push the ball a teeny bit over the net at their chest with a loose wrist, extending with your shoulder.

  • Swing out on the ball, not up.

  • Miss deep, not high.

  • Reset the easier second ball and come into the kitchen.
