The CBD Brand that Actually Does What It Says

CBD is having a moment and CBD brands are everywhere right now. But with so many options, it can be tough to know what to look for – and which brands actually follow through on their claims.

That’s where CBDistillery sets itself apart. For the past decade, all of CBDistillery's products have been made with non-GMO, US-grown industrial hemp and with 100% clean ingredients – no corn syrup or artificial colors, flavors, preservatives or sweeteners.

They frequently introduce new and innovative products formulated to meet a variety of wellness needs and customer preferences. And every single batch of CBDistillery’s gummies, oil tinctures, topicals and softgels are tested by an independent, accredited lab to make sure what’s in the package matches what’s on the label.

Right now, CBDistillery is offering our readers a special deal: save 50% on orders of $75 or more with code NEWS50!

Tip of the day

Open play is great for social pickleball, and it is probably the main reason your game has stopped moving.

Zane Navratil's argument is that competitive pickleball is a sprint, not a marathon, and that sloppy reps actively hurt you rather than just wasting time. When your focus goes, the session is over.

So arrange your own games with players who are slightly better than you and who want to learn the game properly. Slightly better means you win when you play well and lose when you play poorly.

Drilling is the other half of it. Third shots come up about once every four points, which is roughly ten chances in fifteen minutes of play, and you can get those same ten chances in thirty seconds of drilling.

Warm up before you start, both off court and on. You hit five to seven times as many balls drilling as you do playing, so five minutes of warm-up is worth about half an hour of play.

Then change what you do between points. After every single rally, ask yourself why the point ended, because that is how you build court IQ, shot selection, and anticipation.

Hit to the stronger player when you have the choice, and play the ball rather than the player. Beating someone in practice by feeding every ball to their weaker partner teaches you nothing.

Pick one priority and stay on it until it is muscle memory. If you tinker with something new every week, nothing ever gets mastered and it falls apart as soon as you move on.

Learn to win at your current level before chasing the next one. Do not enter a 4.0 tournament until you are consistently winning at 3.5.

And control only what you can control, which is your preparation, your effort, and your attitude.

Key points

  • Arrange your own games with slightly better players instead of relying on open play.

  • You can get as many third shot reps in thirty seconds of drilling as in fifteen minutes of play.

  • Five minutes of warm-up is worth about half an hour of play.

  • Ask yourself why the point ended after every rally to build court IQ and anticipation.

  • Stay on one priority until it is muscle memory instead of tinkering with something new every week.
