Free Weekly AI Sessions for Experienced Software Engineers.

Every Wednesday at 5 PM CT, Gauntlet AI professors teach a live, hands-on AI engineering session — completely free. If you're nontechnical, this isn't for you. New topic every week, built for engineers who want to build, not just watch. See upcoming sessions.

Tip of the day

A good third shot drop dies in the kitchen so your opponent can't take it out of the air and attack. Topspin is what makes it dip.

Start under the ball and brush up and around it, guiding the ball through with your wrist to project the topspin. That low to high path is what pulls the ball down into the kitchen.

Hit from an open stance facing the net. It lets you move forward and back easily and defend the next ball if it comes back hard.

Engage your legs into the shot rather than arming it, and let your follow through finish either over your shoulder or whipping around your head.

Drill it crosscourt to crosscourt with a partner at the kitchen taking balls out of the air, then retreat to ready position after each rep in case it comes back.

  • Hit from an open stance facing the net to move and defend more easily.

  • Drive the shot with your legs and finish over your shoulder or around your head.

  • Drill it crosscourt to crosscourt and reset to ready position after every rep.
